Ingredients found in the Super Formula:

Water: Purified water which is used to restore the water and moisture lost daily in the skin

Glycerin: Best known as nature’s oldest moisturizer and humectant for the skin.

Lactic acid: Also known as L ammonium lactate has naturally occurring AHA (alpha-hydroxy acid) found in milk and sugar is used to slough off dry skin cells. It naturally increases moisture, softens and has antibacterial properties and is naturally found in the body.

Aloe Vera: Aloe Vera has been used for thousands of years to heal, soothe, and nourish the skin. There is a substantial body of scientific evidence documenting the many positive effects of aloe. They include, but are not limited to increasing collagen production, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial as well as humectant (moisture holding) properties.

Vitamin C: Contains antioxidants, reducing free radicals and helps even skin tones. The antioxidant properties of vitamin C (ascorbic acid) and its role in collagen synthesis make vitamin C a vital molecule for skin health. Dietary and topical ascorbic acid have beneficial effects on skin cells, and some studies have shown that vitamin C may help prevent and treat ultraviolet (UV)-induced photodamage.

Carbamide: Also called Urea dissolves scaly skin, eventually resulting in the softening of dry patchy areas. It helps slough off dead skin, softens and is common in many skin care products. Also naturally found in the skin and organs.

Hyaluronic Acid: Naturally found in the body, hyaluronic acid is a powerful humectant that keeps skin plump, hydrated and younger looking. Helps with moisture restoration and combats wrinkling.

Green tea: Green tea is loaded with polyphenols. It has antioxidant properties, which fight free radicals, reduce skin inflammation, and provide protection for damaged skin during the healing process. It also provides natural sun damage protection, and helps promote the skin’s elasticity.

White tea: the highest antioxidant levels of any tea, antibacterial and anti-aging properties. Studies had shown excessive metalloproteinases (MMP) activity can lead to wrinkles and loss of skin firmness. MMP are natural enzymes in the body that degrade the proteins in the skin, particularly collagen and elastin, White tea has been shown a skin protein protector.

Grape seed extract: Known for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, and when applied topically, grape seed extract acts as an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA), which works in a variety of ways. It nourishes and strengthens the skin cells, particularly the collagen and elastin structures. This helps to keep the skin firm and youthful in appearance. AHA also improves the moisture barrier of skin cells, which allows them to accept and retain necessary moisture so that they remain healthy.

Chamomile: Chamomile is well known for its antioxidant, cleansing, and healing properties. But it is also an amazing moisturizer for soothing irritated or cracked skin with its antiseptic healing properties.

Calendula: Calendula has been used throughout history in caring for the skin. It is beneficial for dry or damaged skin and promotes the rapid healing and regeneration of the skin due to its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.

Echinacea: Recent scientific research reported that echinacea was “effective in improving skin hydration and reducing wrinkles.” Another study showed that it prevented damage to collagen from free radicals. It is also known for its antibacterial properties.

Celtic Sea Salt ®(Brand): One of nature’s humectants found in the skin and lost during sweat. Certain salts have naturally occurring, essential minerals which have a unique ability to attract and hold water. “Mineral salt, is rich in magnesium and calcium, which improve hydration by strengthening the barrier function of the skin.”
